Spike in PvE??? Confused! And Air? Why?

spiking in pve would only be done in very organized teams for hm in hard areas. Asides that, a ele can not pull off a decent spike but can do a crapload of heavy pressure on an enemy team in pvp. Shatterstone spike is not really a great spike, it is way too ez to counter as u know when it is coming.
